Greetings From Quarantine

It's been a while since I showed the game at the wonderful Eat Play Mingle. Now everyone is locked up inside their homes. Fortunately for me, that means more time working on Emergent Fates.

A lot of that work has taken the shape of filling out forms in preparation of the game’s release on the App Store. While it doesn't look like it will be releasing by the end of May as I was initially hoping, this summer still looks very promising. More time to spread the word!

You don't have to wait until this summer to play the game though!

Just send me your email address (associated with your Apple account) and I'll send you an early version you can install through TestFlight. Any feedback or bug reporting is super helpful and appreciated!

I've also created an Emergent Fates Discord server you can join if you want to chat together and learn more about the game.

In other news...

I took part in the Toronto Game Jam last weekend with a few members from Numizmatic to create the quarantine friendly multiplayer billiards game Pool Party. One player hosts the game and others can join via a mobile device. Each player controls their ball while attempting to sink others with the same colour. Try it out, and let us know what you think!

And if you haven't heard of Numizmatic before you can check out their game Light Fingers for the Nintendo Switch. "A game of friendly pilfering & fiendish provocation." A great coop game to play with any family and friends you're quarantined with.

Take care and stay safe!!!
